love in under three minutes

gwyneth paltrow is one lucky lady. not because she's talented or tall and beautiful, but because she goes home at night to chris martin. he may not be the hottest fish in the sea, but oh, that voice. it sounds like what i imagine absolute, unconditional love would sound like, if it could be put to a melody and sung to a stadium of 100,000 people. and it doesn't even matter what chris is singing about. sure, coldplay has some great songs on the subject of love, some of my favorites being "green eyes" (hate that he won't perform this one anymore) and "yellow." but what's amazing is how chris is able to make a song about fugitives or lines about witches and ghosts sound just as pure. if i were gwyneth, i'd ask him to sing to me every day of our lives together.
